Historic Achievement: Team Qualifies for ICPC World Finals 2026 for the First Time

Congratulations to the team members and their mentor, Dr. N R Aravind, on this monumental achievement!

We are delighted to announce that a team of students—Mr. Bonthu Mani Hemanth Reddy (CS22BTech11013) (CS), Mr. Saketh Ram Dondapati (AI22BTech11023) (AI), and Mr. Arjun Moravekar (EP22BTech1106) (EP)—working under the supervision of Dr. N R Aravind (Department of Computer Science & Engineering), has qualified for the World Finals of the Intercollegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), to be held in Dubai in November 2026.

Key Highlight:

The ICPC is the most prestigious and oldest programming competition in the world at the university level. This qualification marks the first time in the history of our Institute that a team has made it to the World Finals. To reach this global stage, the team successfully navigated three rigorous rounds of competition: the Online, Regional, and Asia Continental rounds.

Heartfelt congratulations to Saketh, Arjun, Hemanth, and Dr. N R.Aravind for this historic contribution to the Institute’s legacy in competitive programming. We wish them the very best for the World Finals in Dubai!
