Dr. Lakshmi Mandal holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Department of Computer Science and Automation at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and was working as a Research Scientist at IBM prior to joining the Institute. Her research interests include reinforcement learning, multi-agent learning, agentic AI and natural language processing, and stochastic optimization.
