Title Of the Talk: “ Addressing Hardware Trojan Attacks in Tiled-Chip Multi-core Processors “
Speakers: Dr. Manju R
Host Faculty: Dr. Shirshendu Das
Date: : 23rd October 2024 at 5:00 pm

Abstract: Hardware Trojans (HTs) pose a significant threat to Tiled-Chip Multi-core Processors (TCMPs), particularly in the interconnects that manage communication between cores. These attacks can take various forms, such as packet misrouting, looping, and duplication, which disrupt normal operations and compromise system security. This presentation explores the potential for HT-induced attacks in TCMPs, the types of threats they pose, and their impact on the reliability and integrity of multi-core processors.

Speaker Profile:

Dr. Manju R is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Government Engineering College Barton Hill, Kerala, India, with 16 years of teaching experience. She completed her PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Guwahati in 2024. Her research focuses on managing Hardware Trojans in System-on-Chip security.
