Abstract: With Moore’s law slowing down, system software like Compiler, plays a vital role in running applications faster, reducing size of application binary and reducing power consumption. We will look at the compiler optimizations which are performed, at compilation unit level, at the link-time and profile-guided optimizations. We will talk about their impact on, getting more things done on the devices we use every day.

Bio of the speakerphd: Pankaj Gode works as Senior Staff Engineer at Qualcomm and has 20+ years of industry experience. Over these years, Pankaj has focused on solving problems to help programmers write code for various architectures including microcontrollers in handheld devices, servers employed for HPC, and CGRA/DSP employed for image and audio coder/decoder.
