Abstract The first part of this talk will motivate traceability and explainability in general-purpose search and question-answering systems via information access for non-factoid numerical distributions. The second part will focus on trustworthy AI in clinical decision-making systems.
Bio Shrestha is a AI & Data Science Postdoctoral Fellow at the Health NLP lab in the University of Tuebingen. Her current interests are in explainable and interpretable AI systems in critical domains, especially healthcare. She is also part of the development team of GPTKB that builds massive knowledge bases as a persistent resource for inspecting LLM beliefs. She obtained her PhD from Max Planck Institute for Informatics and Saarland University in Germany. During her PhD worked on numerical data extraction and aggregation from structured and unstructured text for general-purpose knowledge.
